Tale Dolven and Gabel Eiben started working together in 2014 for their first piece You’re welcome, followed by That catastrophe is a fire (2015).
Both pieces walk the line between dance and theater with an unpretentious sense of humor.
Tale Dolven (NO) & Gabel Eiben (US): Assembly
It’s their first residency in BUDA. They’ll be working on Assemby. Point of interest is the assembly line; how to use the form of mass production in performance? They intend to use live music, text and choreography as the elements to be assembled to create the product of a performance.
This is the first residency for this project, a research/preparation phase - looking into discovering material that inspires them, to deconstruct it to its base elements.
