Muta Imago (IT/BE)

Muta Imago is a theatre company and an artistic research project born in Rome 2006 and living today between Rome and Brussels. The company is led by Claudia Sorace, director and Riccardo Fazi, dramaturg and sound designer. It is constantly looking for shapes and stories that put in relationship the sphere of imagination with that of the present reality: human, social and political.

The company's productions have toured in Italy, Europe and the Middle East and they've been awarded with the Ubu Special Prize (2009), the Critique's prize ANCT (2010) and the Prize Movin’UP. In 2011 Claudia Sorace was awarded best director in Tehran’s XXIX Fadjr Festival.

Muta Imago (IT/BE): HERE

Here is a project for the realization of a performance that aims to create and share practices devoted to the investigation of the status of time. They want to build it on the basis of a deep dialogue between the specific means of performative language and the current discoveries of theoretical physics on the issue of space-time.

Here wants to be a playful investigation on the relationship between space, time and memory; a reflection on the importance of the "now" and on its carachteristic impermanence, so disturbing and fascinating at the same time.
