Miet Warlop / Irene Wool vzw (BE)
Miet Warlop (°1978) is a Belgian visual artist born in Torhout. She holds a master degree in Visual Arts from KASK, Ghent. In addition to her performance work for theatre venues, Miet Warlop has created and presented an ever-growing cycle of visual art performances, interventions and live installations. She has been touring nationally and internationally since the last twenty years. Miet Warlop / Irene Wool vzw (BE): After All Springville - Disasters and Amusement Parks
BUDA residency will serve the artist to retake ’Springville’, a twelve years old show which premiered in BUDA at that time. The residency will be used in particular to experiment a new explosive end, using traces of the previous performance titled ‘Amusement Park’ and working with a brand new cast of acrobats, dancers and actors.
