Lisa Vereertbrugghen (NL/BE): DISQUIET - sensational aesthetics of a technokin
"DISQUIET is a continuation of my research on hardcoretechno bodypolitics, which I started in 2014. By researching and experiencing hardcore techno dances, I want to demonstrate their political potential. With politics I refer to bodypolitics: how an embodied experience is drawn by power relations and how it can re-draw those relations. After gabbering in my pieces Softcore and Camouflaging Kelly, I am now expanding my vocabulary with jungle, drum 'n' bass and other technovariants who call themselves hardcore."
