Christine De Smedt (BE), Theo Livesey (UK/BE) and Liza Baliasnaja (LT/BE): L’inconnu #1@Buda
Christine De Smedt invited Liza Baliasnaja and Theo Livesey for a research to reflect on ways of thinking about ‘low intensity violence’ in daily life, with a specific focus on language, repetition, and memory.
We consider ‘language as material’ from a choreographic and physical approach. Language as material allows for a multitude of voices and complexity in thinking, feeling, and awareness. L’inconnu #1@Buda is the first block of a series of 4 residencies, during which we will also develop performative formats to share our research with an audience.
