Bryana Fritz & Christoffer Forbes Schieche
Bryana Fritz studied dance in Minneapolis (US) and Essen (DE) before she moved to Brussels , where she graduated at P.A.R.T.S last year. She created studentperformances with a.o Benjamin van Buren and Hagar Tenenbaum, and the refreshing duet Breakfast Club with Christoffer Forbes Schieche (that was presented as the only not-Buda-coproduction during Buda Vista #7, March 2014). Next tot his, she danced for a.o. Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Salva Sanchis, David Hernandez and Xavier Le Roy.
Christoffer Forbes Schieche studied dance in Stockholm (SE) and Amsterdam (NL) before he ended up in Bryana’s class at P.A.R.T.S. He made studentperformances with a.o. Bryana and with Benjamin Poehlig and Rósa Ómarsdóttir, got nominated at ITS-festival Amsterdam with the Choreografie-award 2010 for An Exclamation of Surprise or Incredulity of William Collins, in which he danced. Just like Bryana, he also danced for Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and Salva Sanchis, and performed in pieces by James McGinn, Daniel Linehan and Henry Andersen.

Sixteen Candles is their third collaboration, but their first BUDA-coproduction ànd their first ‘official’ project out of school.
Bryana & Christoffer promise a yellow infinite carpet, birds, bare feet, music, dance, manipulated voices, poetry and fabric. Be aware, the carpet might be fake.
