MISSIE (NED)

Kunstencentrum BUDA schept een artistieke context waarin het verlangen van de kunstenaar om te creëren centraal staat.  Daarvoor bouwt kunstencentrum BUDA het stadsdeel Buda mee uit tot een vruchtbare plek voor kunstenaars en tot een kruispunt voor creatieve, ondernemende personen/organisaties en een divers publiek.

Als werkplek, presentatieplatform en filmhuis wil kunstencentrum BUDA een voortrekkersrol spelen binnen de Eurometropool Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai (en dus Noord-Frankrijk en Wallonië) en zodoende erkenning behouden en versterken op internationaal niveau.  Kunstencentrum BUDA vindt het belangrijk permanent aandacht te hebben voor binnen- en buitenlandse samenwerkingsverbanden, zowel binnen als (steeds vaker) buiten de kunstensector.

MISSION (FR)

Kunstencentrum (Centre d'art) BUDA met en place un contexte artistique au centre duquel se trouve le besoin de l'artiste de créer. Dans ce cadre, Kunstencentrum BUDA participe au développement du quartier BUDA en un lieu de travail fertile pour les artistes et un carrefour où se croisent les esprits créatifs et entreprenants (personnes et organisation) et les plubics divers.

En tant que lieu de travail, plate-forme de présentation et maison du cinéma, Kunstencentrum BUDA entend jouer un rôle de pionnier au sein de l'Eurométropole Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai (Nord de la France et Wallonie) et maintenir, voire renforcer, ainsi sa reconnaissance au niveau international. Kunstencentrum BUDA estime qu'il est important de privilégier les réseaux de collaboration nationaux et internationaux,  et ce autant à l'intérieur que (de plus en plus souvent) à l'extérieur du secteur des arts.

MISSION STATEMENT (ENG)
Arts Centre BUDA creates an artistic context in which the artist's desire to create takes central place. Arts Centre BUDA is in this way taking part in developing the BUDA city district into a productive workplace for artists and a crossroads for creative, enterprising people/organisations and a wide audience.

As a workspace, presentation platform and movie house, Arts Centre BUDA wants to play a leading role within the Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai Eurometropolis and thus preserve and enhance recognition at an international level. Arts Centre BUDA believes it is important to pay constant attention to domestic and foreign partnerships, both inside and (more often) outside the arts sector.
